Hon. SALAMA MBAROUK KHATIB has been serving as the Region Commissioner of North Pemba since 2020. With over 20 years of experience in public administration, She has led numerous initiatives to improve service delivery and enhance the quality of life for North Pemba residents. She holds a Master's degree in Social Works from Open University of Tanzania and is committed to transforming North Pemba into a model district through sustainable development practices and inclusive governance.

Dr. Ali Khatib Bakar brings a wealth of experience in public administration and management to his role as the Regional Administrator. e is responsible for overseeing all administrative functions and ensuring efficient service delivery to citizens. He holds a PhD in Plant pathology and has previously worked as researcher in Ministry of Agriculture Zanzibar.
